toured on
1/7/09. Seen was a state of the art center for cadaveric
dissection and surgery.
The Center for Learning and Innovation,
at 1979 Marcus Avenue, was toured on 3/4/09. Life-like ICU and ER
emergency simulations were amazing.

The
Senior Leadership meeting
took place at the state-of-the-art NS LIJ Center for Emergency Medical Services
on May 6th, 2009. Photographs follow.
Sunrise, Phase II.
The second phase of Sunrise is being rolled out, as of June 5th. This will include
all components of a patient's record except physician notes and order entry.
It will include the H&P, discharge summary, nurses notes, I&O's, and consultation
notes. For training, see the

RRG Update.
The RRG is progressing, and a short Power
Point presentation was given by Ammie Washington.
Its relevance will become all the more important as rates are introduced for
July '09 and the future of PRI, described as insolvent by Crain's, is
determined.
